RWASJ in Action: Breaking Period Stigma, One School at a Time
RWASJ continues to break down menstrual taboos with compassion and commitment. In commemoration of the menstrual hygiene day, RWASJ conducted sensitization campaign for young pupils of St. Joseph nursery and primary school about the natural process of menstruation. The objective was to prepare young girls for their first periods and foster understanding among their peers. Alongside our awareness talks, we distributed sanitary pads and trash bags—reinforcing both education and practical support. By demystifying periods in classrooms, RWASJ is creating safe spaces where young girls feel seen, heard, and supported.
